The Sun, The Park, The Memorials

Yesterday was the first fully sunny day we've had, so we got on our bikes and headed to the Tiergarten.

Just one of the statues 'celebrating' the original purpose of the Tiergarten - a hunting ground for the wealthy.

The Seigessäule (Victory Column)

The sky was not photoshopped!

We also made our first visit to the Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe (Denkmal Für Die Ermordeten Juden Europas).  There's no confusing what's being memorialized here, and it's quite a stunning experience.
