Yesterday was the first fully sunny day we've had, so we got on our bikes and headed to the
Tiergarten.
 |
Just one of the statues 'celebrating' the original purpose of the Tiergarten - a hunting ground for the wealthy. |
 |
The Seigessäule (Victory Column) |
 |
The sky was not photoshopped! |
We also made our first visit to the Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe (
Denkmal Für Die Ermordeten Juden Europas). There's no confusing what's being memorialized here, and it's quite a stunning experience.
Today? Partly sunny and a walk to the nearby Volkspark where I saw this birdhouse condo.

If you flew here, you could be home by now. |
Wow. That looks incredibly haunting.
