Super Bowl Commercials
For the most part, they were either boring or super sexist. What's going on? Are men really that insecure? I mean, anytime a woman was in an ad, for the most part, she was either an agent of emasculation or a foil for masculinity. What happened to the ads that we would talk about for days afterwards? We drove to Buffalo just to be able to see the commercials during the game (which, by the way, was really good - even for someone like me who's not really into football). The best ads were for VW, Audi, monster.com (fiddling beaver - need I say more?), and Doritos.
